George Martinez *
Mr. Martinez was co-founder in 1974, and served from 1980 to 2001 as chief executive officer of a multi-billion dollar publicly traded financial institution. He currently serves as a director of NCI Building Systems, Inc., a company traded on the NYSE. George also serves the community as board member and past chairman of the Center for Houston's Future, as a board member of the CHRISTUS Foundation for Healthcare, as a board member of the Lone Star College Foundation and as an emeritus member of the Council of Overseers for the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University.
In 2003 George received the Exemplary Leader Award from the Houston Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Leadership Forum. In 2004 he was awarded the Ethical Leadership in Action Award from the University of St. Thomas Center for Business Ethics. George earned a B.A. degree in business administration and economics from Rice University in 1963.
Steven F. Retzloff *
Currently, Mr. Retzloff serves as Chairman of Allegiance Bank Texas and President of Allegiance Bancshares, Inc.
Mr. Retzloff has twenty years of Houston banking experience serving as a Director and twice as Chairman of a publicly traded multi-billion dollar financial institution. He currently also serves as the Chairman and CEO of Retzloff Industries, Inc. and is an Advisory Director on the Board of Travis Body & Trailer, Inc., a manufacturer of specialized truck trailers.
His past work experience also includes General Motors, Bristol Myers and Retzloff Capital Corporation.
Other current affiliations include serving as a member of the Advisory Board for Fuller Texas School of Theology and as Vice-President of the Kinkaid School Investments Foundation.
Additional past affiliations include The Escape Center of Houston, Past President of The Exchange Club of Uptown Houston, Greater Houston Men's Life, Director of The Transitions Foundation, The Board of Trustees for the Kinkaid School, President of the Kinkaid School Alumni Association and service as an elder at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church.
As a native Texan and a lifelong Houstonian, Steve enjoys the opportunity to both support and participate in a variety of other community oriented organizations.
Steve received an Industrial Engineering degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology in 1979 and an MBA with distinction from the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University in 1981.
Daryl D. Bohls *
Mr. Bohls has 33 years of banking experience in the Houston market including 20 years with a $4 billion dollar Houston publicly traded financial institution. Mr. Bohls currently serves as President and a member of the Board of Directors of the Gulf Coast Chapter of RMA (Risk Management Association).
Additionally, Mr. Bohls remains an appointed Civil Service Commissioner with the Harris County Sheriff's Department since 1999. He holds a BBA in accounting from the University of Texas and an MBA in Banking from Sam Houston State University. Mr. Bohls presently serves as an adjunct Finance Professor for Sam Houston State University, an active member of the C-Club of Houston, The Association of Commercial Real Estate Professionals (ACRP), a Trustee for the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation and he serves on the Merchandising Committee for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.
Freddy Hurst
Mr. Hurst - President Woodway Office, Allegiance Bank Texas. Mr. Hurst earned his undergraduate degree in Finance and an MBA from Oklahoma State University. He has 35 years of banking experience and has served the Houston market for 20 years. Mr. Hurst serves the local community as Vice Chairman of the West Houston Medical Center. He also serves as a member of the Regional Board of the HCA Gulf Coast Division and the Houston West Chamber of Commerce. Currently, he is Chairman of the Board of the West Houston Leadership Institute.
Lynda Keene
Lynda Keene – President Bellaire Office, Allegiance Bank Texas. Mrs. Keene has over 35 years of banking experience in the Houston area. She has served as a Director on two Community Bank Boards as well as the Houston Intown Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Keene is currently a member of the Women Presidents Organization for the Houston Chapter and also enjoys her volunteer work and participating in other community projects and organizations.
Scott Lester
Scott Lester – President Heights Office, Allegiance Bank Texas.
After completing studies at Houston's Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, Mr. Lester graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance & Management. He has over 25 years of banking experience in the Houston market. In addition to being an active member of St. Helen's Catholic Church in Pearland and the Pearland Knights of Columbus, Mr. Lester has served on many organization boards. He is active in the Greater Heights Chamber of Commerce where he has served as Past Chairman and is currently an Advisory Director. He is also an active member and past Board Member of the Heights Rotary Club.
Bob Neyland
Bob Neyland - President, Kirby and Memorial Offices. Mr. Neyland has 30 years of banking experience . He graduated from Texas A&M with a BBA in Finance and received his MBA in Finance from the University of Arkansas.
Ignacio Pujol, Jr.
Ignacio Pujol, Jr. – President, Memorial Spring Branch Office, Allegiance Bank Texas. Mr. Pujol is an experienced community banker who has served business customers in the Houston area since 1985. Mr. Pujol is also active in the community as he currently serves as an Advisory Board Member for Arte Publico Press and as Chairman of the West Committee for the Villas on Travis Homeowners Association. He has held community positions as Secretary to the Board of Directors for the Memorial City Management District and as Trustee of the City of Houston Municipal Employees Pension Board. Mr. Pujol has lived in the Memorial area for 18 years.
Mr. Pujol earned a BBA in Finance from the University of Houston, an MBA in Finance from The University of St. Thomas and is also a licensed Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Vidal Ramirez
Vidal H. Ramirez – President, Katy Office, Allegiance Bank Texas. Mr. Ramirez has 46 years of banking experience. He is a graduate of Texas Southmost College in Brownsville, Texas and a graduate of Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU- Dallas, Texas. He has completed The Management Program at Rice University in Houston, TX. Mr. Ramirez has served in numerous capacities for organizations in the Katy and Houston communities as a Committee or Board Member. He currently serves on the Board of Methodist West Houston Hospital.
Ray Vitulli
Ray Vitulli - President, West Belt Office, Allegiance Bank Texas. Graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance. Mr. Vitulli has served customers in the Houston and surrounding area since 1990. Recent panelist for discussion of Commercial Real Estate for the South Texas College of Law/Texas A&M CLE Program. Past Chairman of St. Pius X High School Board (1996-2003), Past Chairman of St. Anne (Tomball) Catholic School Board (2003-2008). Past volunteer math tutor in HISD Adopt a School Program. Past member of American Heart Association Board. Current member of the St. Pius X High School Foundation Board.
John B. Beckworth *
Mr. Beckworth is an attorney, partner and co-founder of Watt Beckworth Thompson & Henneman, LLP. Mr. Beckworth was licensed to practice law in 1983 and has practiced law in Houston, Texas continuously since then. His law practice currently focuses on litigation and arbitration, employment, and oil and gas law. Mr. Beckworth commenced his law practice with Fulbright & Jaworski, LLP, where he became a partner in the firm's Litigation Section, before leaving that firm to start his own law practice. Mr. Beckworth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a J.D. degree from the University of Texas School of Law. Mr. Beckworth also is licensed to practice law in each of the United States District Courts in Texas, The United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and in the United States Supreme Court.
David B. Moulton *
Mr. Moulton is a retired banker. Formerly, he was the Chairman and CEO of Almeda Bancshares, Inc., which was acquired in 1999, and Chairman and CEO of National Commerce Bank, which was acquired in 1995.
William S. (Nick) Nichols, III *
Mr. Nichols is the president of Suncor Companies, LLC, Houston, Texas, a real estate development company. He is also general partner of numerous real estate development partnerships. Mr. Nichols is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University.
Thomas A. Reiser *
Mr. Reiser is the Chairman and CEO of Upstream Insurance Brokers. From 1994 to 2006, he served as a director of Sterling Bancshares, Inc. Mr. Reiser holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of William and Mary.
Raimundo Riojas E.*
Mr. Riojas is the President of Duwest, Inc., a joint venture of Westrade, Inc. and E.I. DuPont de Nemours, engaged in the distribution of crop protection products and the manufacture of industrial and automotive coatings. From 1994 to 2011, he served as a director of Sterling Bancshares, Inc. Mr. Riojas holds a Chemical Engineering degree from Texas A&M University. He has also served as a director of The American Brahman Breeders Association since 1996.
P. Michael Mann, M.D. *
Dr. Mann is the President and owner of Mann Eye Center, P.A. He served as a director of Sterling Bank from 1997 to 2005. Dr. Mann holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Centenary College of Louisiana and a Medical Degree from Louisiana State University.
F. Charles Brunicardi, M.D. **
Dr. Brunicardi presently is Chief of the Santa Monica-UCLA Surgical Group at the Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center/Santa Monica General Surgery. From 1995 to June 2011, he had been with Baylor College of Medicine and served as Chairman of the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery.
Fred S. Robertson *
Mr. Robertson is the President of FR Resources, Inc. He has thirty years experience overseeing institutional and retail investment management including roles as Senior Portfolio Manager, Chief Investment Officer and President. He has managed fixed income investments and designed extensive quantitative models for bond management.
