CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD
Steve Retzloff. Mr. Retzloff has twenty years of Houston banking experience serving as a Director and twice as Chairman of a publicly traded multi-billion dollar financial institution. He currently serves as the Chairman and CEO of Retzloff Industries, Inc., C&S Leasing Inc. and Travis Body & Trailer, Inc., a manufacturer of specialized truck trailers. Steve has served as a Trustee for the Kinkaid School and as President of the Kinkaid School Alumni Association. Additional and past affiliations include The Escape Center of Houston, The Exchange Club, Greater Houston Men’s Life and service as an elder at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church. As a native Texan and a lifelong Houstonian, Steve enjoys the opportunity to both support and participate in a variety of other community oriented organizations.
Steve received an Industrial Engineering degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology in 1979 and an MBA with distinction from the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University in 1981.
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
George Martinez. Mr. Martinez was co-founder in 1974, and served from 1980 to 2001 as chief executive officer of a multi-billion dollar publicly traded financial institution. He currently serves as a director of NCI Building Systems, Inc., a company traded on the NYSE. George also serves the community as chairman of the Center for Houston’s Future, as a director of the Greater Houston Partnership and as a member of the Council of Overseers for the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University.
In 2003 George received the Exemplary Leader Award from the Houston Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Leadership Forum. In 2004 he was awarded the Ethical Leadership in Action Award from the University of St. Thomas Center for Business Ethics. George earned a B.A. degree in business administration and economics from Rice University in 1963.
PRESIDENT-COO-DIRECTOR
Daryl Bohls. Mr. Bohls has 30 years of banking experience in the Houston market; including 20 years with a $40+ billion dollar Houston publicly traded financial institution. Mr. Bohls currently serves as a Board Member of the Gulf Coast Chapter of RMA (Risk Management Association).
Additionally, Mr. Bohls has been an appointed Civil Service Commissioner with the Harris County Sheriff’s Department since 1999. Mr. Bohls holds an Accounting degree from the University of Texas, and an MBA in Banking from Sam Houston State University. Mr. Bohls also serves on the Business Advisory Board of the Business School at Sam Houston State University.
CASHIER-SVP OPERATIONS
Rhonda Festervand. Mrs. Festervand has over 26 years of banking experience in the Houston market. Mrs. Festervand’s training department was the recipient of the ASTD’s Best Award for Training & Development for two consecutive years in 2003 and 2004. Mrs. Festervand served on the Houston Community College Financial Advisory Committee and the Chief Learning Officer Business Intelligence Board. Mrs. Festervand holds a Bachelor of Business Management degree from Letourneau University.
